Year-End Checklist and Services to Consider

Businesses

  1. Financial records are up to date
  2. Have on file W-9, I-9, and W-4 forms for either employees or independent contractors
  3. Employment returns are filed
  4. Annual meeting minutes is complete (S & C Corporations)
  5. Secretary of State renewal has been filed with your state/s

Individuals

  1. Contribute to retirement plans for the match
  2. Have a list of tax documents you are expecting to receive in 2022
  3. Reevaluate your investments

Tax Plan

  • Most tax strategies need to be in place and complete by December 31st
  • It is never too late to consider a tax plan or even request us to run a few numbers to see how much a tax plan could save you

Year-End Financial Review

  • Sit down with your financial advisor for a review and reconnect with them
  • If you don’t have one let us know we have someone in mind for you

Tax Projection

  • Find out at your current rate how much you may owe come 4/15
  • Give yourself some extra time to adjust withholdings, accumulate savings, implement strategies, or ease your mind knowing your situation
